It's the Women Who Write and Create event, taking place on November 1. Three authors in studio to share their stories and talents, as well as the event featuring 20 authors at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Muskegon Rotary Club's annual Harvest Fest is an evening of food, music, and giving. We talk to Carla Flanders about the October 23 event at Baker College's Culinary Institute, funds going to the Foundation, with guests experiencing signature beverages and more.

We discuss early onset breast cancer and what surgeons are seeing in patients today. We talk to Dr. Laurie Kirstein, chair of the ACS Commission on Cancer, about diagnosis, treatment, and why the 30/40 year old increase in frequency.

Mercy Vet Coalition's Dr. Stacie Kreiser and Linda Kaufman discuss their nonprofit and the purchase of a mobile clinic, intended to expand services to more rural shelters without vets. An upcoming fundraiser will help with dollars needed for success, one year into the services.

Calvin University's Theatre Department presents The Glass Menagerie. We talk to production director John Scritchfield and Student Actor Hayden Vander Veen talk about this well known, stirring production.
