The Michigan Irish Festival 2025, The Woman She Left Behind, Actors Theatre, and the Donn of Tiki.

The Michigan Irish Music Festival 2025 kicks off this Thursday, Heritage Landing in Muskegon the place to be. We talk to Kris Vanderstelt and Morgan Witmer about the longstanding celebration of all things Irish, including entertainment, food, drink and more.

Local author Tom Huggler wrote the book The Woman She Left Behind. The untold true story of a woman who refused to give into despair is the first historical novel by Huggler. He joins us in studio to discuss his book and more.

Actors Theatre presents Spain a Michigan Premiere, where the audience steps into a sophisticated, slippery world where the line between truth and fiction is all in the packaging. It’s 1936, and a pair of passionate filmmakers have landed their next big project. The roving mic heads to the theatre to talk to the actors and director.

Tonight, the Donn of Tiki premiers at Celebration Cinema Studio Park. Today we talk with co directors Alex Lamb and Max Well about this partnership with GR Tiki Bar Max's South Seas Hideaway. The hybrid animated doc focuses upon cocktail history and inventor of tiki culture, Donn Beach.
