Producer/Author Milton Nieuwsma writes the book Miracle on Chestnut Street, the Untold Story of Thomas Jefferson and the Declaration of Independence. Nieusma is a 2 time Emmy Award winning writer and creator of the acclaimed PBS series Inventing America: Conversations with the Founders, making his home here in West Michgan.

Music is in the air as a professional development workshop takes place both this month and in July targeting Allendale students and staff. the West Michigan Orff Chapter President Dan De Zwaan talks about how students will be involved playing for the GR Symphony's Carmina Burana.
