Gun Violence was the topic of a recent gathering of advocates, the roving mic on site speaking with Representative Hillary Scholten, local city council women, and more. Former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords was on site, we begin our conversation with Giffords Courage Fellow, West Michigander Elizabeth Lancaster.

The Kent County Youth Fair kicked off yesterday, it’s location at The Grand. This year’s theme: The Greatest Showman. We talk with Bill Zaske about the week long event, featuring entertainment, the showing of the animals, and the fair atmosphere.

The 2024 Christkindl Markt is in full planning for a November-December event. The Grand Rapids Downtown Market welcomes the Markt for its second year, heavily inspired by the traditional European Holiday shopping and dining experiences. We talk to Karen Carpenter about the preview.
