Wedgwood’s State of the Child happens today, keynote speaker Ross Szabo joins in to talk about his presentation. Award Winning Mental Health Speaker Szabo will add to the day that will feature conversations with local teens, community experts and breakout sessions addressing the most demanding challenges facing kids today.

The topic for discussion is unhoused healthcare initiatives, guests including Catherine Health Center’s Clinical Director Mark Contreras and Development Director Ally Stephens. Conversation will be expanded to the work of the center and the needs from the community.

Gilda’s Club of Grand Rapids welcomes community members to gather tomorrow to celebrate Black History Month with an open house called Black Love. Dr. Lametria Eaddy will talk about the importance of the event and of Gilda’s Club Resources for the African American community in West Michigan.
