Michigan House Elections and Ethics Committee

The bill cleared the House Elections Committee last month on a party-line vote and is now awaiting action on the House floor.

The bills would apply to state elected officials and candidates. That includes the governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state and legislators
