In lopsided race Democrat Kristian Grant received 80% of the vote to Republican challenger Ryan Malinoski’s 20%.

State representative Kristian Grant will serve a second term in Michigan’s House after voters turned out with overwhelming support. The incumbent Grand Rapids Democrat defeated Republican challenger Ryan Malinoski with a 60% margin of victory.

Her priorities in Michigan’s 82nd House District are increasing the levels of affordable housing, investing in high-quality education and economic development.

“These are three areas, and if we do them right, and we do them in a way that put people first, they will change the future of this community for us all. So, it’s the work that I’ve started, but it’s also the work I plan to continue moving forward and I’m excited to do.”

Representative Grant says she’ll continue to show up and listen to district residents in Grand Rapids and Wyoming.
