Michigan State Police are leading teams searching along the Muskegon River in Newaygo County, looking for two 28-year-old women - Jazzmin Hock and Sara Vida of Muskegon – and 9-year-old Kayden Kovalcik.
The three went tubing Tuesday and have not been seen since.
The investigation began Wednesday after the father of one missing woman discovered her vehicle parked at the Maple Island Boat Launch in Grant with a window broken out.
Troopers say the three were using orange and pink pool floats which were located Thursday evening along with footprints.
Police are asking the public to stay away from the active search areas to allow first responders to conduct operations.
