Gas prices in Michigan rise above four dollars a gallon once again… staying in line with the national average.
U.S. gas prices have jumped to an average of four dollars a gallon as the U.S. and Iran launch more attacks.According to AAA the national average for a gallon of regular gasoline is now back to four dollars.And this includes Michigan.
Adrienne Woodland spokesperson for AAA the Auto Club Group says, "Motorists across Michigan are seeing higher prices at the pump, with the state average moving back above $4 a gallon."
Prices are up 20 cents in the state from one week ago.Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $4.15 per gallon for regular unleaded.
AAA says this price is 11 cents more than this time last month and 99 cents more than this time last year.
Motorists are paying an average of $62 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline; an increase of about $11 from 2025's highest price last August.
The price is a national average, meaning drivers in some states have been paying well over $4 a gallon for a while now. Prices vary between states due to factors ranging from nearby supply to differing tax rates.
People around the world are also dealing with high gas prices as a result of the war.
