This year’s Grand Rapids Fireworks will launch from the Fulton Street Bridge on Saturday, July 4th, at 10:30 p.m. to accommodate the ongoing Grand River restoration work and the temporary closure of Ah-Nab-Awen Park.

Live entertainment and activities will begin at 6 p.m. in the Amway Hotel employee parking lot, located at the corner of Fulton Street and Market Avenue. Everything is free and open to the public.

This year’s celebration is presented by Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort and features an expanded fireworks finale honoring America’s 250th birthday. Other sponsors include Meijer, hosting this year’s Meijer Family Fun Zone. Riverbank Events and Media are coordinating live entertainment.

In a statement, Executive Director of Marketing, Entertainment and Sales for Soaring Eagle Raul Venegas said, “We’re excited to provide another great event for the West Michigan community and to present a fireworks display with an amazing A250 finish.”
