City residents are invited to a “Night at the Museum” as officials host the second “Commission Night Out” of the year. The first was in March.
The event will feature the regular 7 p.m. City Commission meeting along with an opportunity for residents to browse more than 15 City information tables beforehand.
Those who attend before the meeting will also be able to explore the Museum’s first floor displays, including its popular Streets of Grand Rapids exhibit.
City officials say “Commission Night Out” brings city government into the community, offering an opportunity for all ages to learn how decisions are made, explore City programs and services and speak directly with City leaders.
Again, “Commission Night Out” takes place June 16th at 7 pm at the Grand Rapids Public Museum.
Doors open at 6 pm
