UPDATE:
Grand Rapids Police say 23-year-old Fernando Vasquez-Pena, wanted in connection to several violent crimes, is now in custody.
He faces charges in two criminal sexual conduct cases and child sexually abusive material.
GRPD officers arrested him Tuesday and thanked the media and community members for sharing tips and information on his whereabouts.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office and Grand Rapids Police Department are seeking 22-year-old Fernando Vasquez-Pena for Criminal Sexual Conduct and Possession of Child Sexually Abusive Material.
Linked to multiple assaults in Kent County, he is considered dangerous and police say do not approach him.
A $2,000 reward is offered for information leading to his arrest.
