Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids is celebrating dual milestones this year as LaughFest returns with its 16th season and Gilda’s Club celebrates 25 years of providing free emotional healthcare to anyone on any kind of cancer journey.
This year, LaughFest will feature more than 30 free and ticketed events at various venues throughout Grand Rapids and at Gun Lake Casino Resort in Wayland. The Gun Lake performance is scheduled on Sunday, March 15th featuring comedian and actor Adam Ray from the TV series Curb Your Enthusiasm and the Barbie movie.
As part of the anniversary celebration, Gilda’s Club is hosting a pre-festival event, Comedy at the Club, on February 13th at 8 p.m. at Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids. The 90-minute show features a lineup of West Michigan improv groups and stand-up comedians.
Following LaughFest, the annual Red Door Gala will take place on March 25th at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.
LaughFest tickets go on sale Thursday online at LaughFest.org and range from $7 to $57.
