Qatar Airways, based in the Persian Gulf, will purchase more than 400 GE Aerospace engines to power their new Boeing 787 and 777X aircraft.

The deal supports more than 300 workers the company employs across Michigan, including three facilities in Muskegon, where they produce components critical for the engine’s performance and reliability.
The deals are part of multiple agreements signed and announced during President Donald Trump’s visit to Doha, Qatar this week.
Trump says the package of multibillion deals will generate an economic exchange worth more than $1 trillion.
