A statewide poll of registered Michigan voters has rated President Trump’s handling of border security and policies to end the wars in Gaza and Ukraine.

Donald Trump’s 2024 Presidential campaign platform priority was securing the southern U.S. border with Mexico.

How do 600 registered Michigan voters rate the job President Trump is doing on immigration and the southern border? They’re split 48% positive and 48% negative.

Lansing-based Epic-MRA conducted its survey in late April and early May. 43% identifying as Republican, 41% Democrat and 12% Independent. 80% of those respondents were surveyed by cell phone.

The questions included the administration’s handling of foreign wars. Respondents were asked how the President is doing to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. 31% say Trump doing a good job while 58% give him negative marks.

When it comes to ending the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas, only 29% give President Trump a positive rating compared with 55% who do not.

The survey has a plus/minus error of 4%
