Frederik Meijer Gardens named #1 sculpture park by USA Today

Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park has once again been named the nation’s #1 sculpture park by USA Today for the third year in a row

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park was the only Michigan nominee for the award.

Of the park, USA Today editor Maggie Tyner said, “Featuring a seamless blend of beautifully curated gardens and internationally acclaimed sculpture exhibits, it’s no wonder that Frederick Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park has been crowned Best Sculpture Park in the USA Today 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards for the third consecutive year. It’s clearly beloved by both our expert panel and our readers.”

Charles Burke, President and CEO of the park, stated, “Winning this award for the third year in a row is an extraordinary honor and testament to the unwavering passion of our volunteers, members, guests, donors and staff.”

Created in 1995 by Meijer grocery store chain founder Fred Meijer and his wife Lena, the park has welcomed more than 15 million guests over the past 30 years.
