Grand Rapids’ D.A. Blodgett – St. John’s wants to provide over 400 children in its adoption, foster care, counseling and residential programs with gifts this holiday season, and they’re asking for the public’s help.
From now until December 2nd, anyone can go online to DABSJ.org/HolidayGift to select a wish list to fulfill for a child, make a monetary donation, or sign up for a volunteer shift.
Then, from December 2nd through the 7th, Wrapped in Hope week will see daily sponsors and groups prepping hundreds of gifts to be delivered to children and families.
Ronald McDonald House Charities West Michigan is also seeking toy donations for children whose families are staying at Ronald McDonald House while they receive care at local hospitals.
Through December 6th, the public can donate a new, unwrapped toy to Grand Rapids’ Ronald McDonald House on Cedar Street Northeast, or monetary donations can be made.
Companies may also obtain boxes for toy donations at their office from Ronald McDonald House.
More information on the Ronald McDonald House holiday collection drive can be found here.
