Donald Trump to hold rally in Grand Rapids this Saturday

The event will be Trump’s first public rally since the failed assassination attempt against him in Butler, Pennsylvania last Saturday.

The event will be Trump’s first public rally since the failed assassination attempt against him in Butler, Pennsylvania last Saturday. The former president was injured when a bullet fired by a gunman from a nearby rooftop grazed his ear.

The Grand Rapids rally will take place this Saturday, July 20th at 5 p.m. at Van Andel Arena. Doors open at 1 p.m. Both Donald Trump and his running mate, U.S. Senator J.D. Vance from Ohio are expected to speak.

According to the Trump campaign, Saturday’s event will be the first rally after the former president officially accepts the Republican Nomination for President this week at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

Trump was last in Grand Rapids on April 2nd, where he spoke to about 120 people at a private event held at the DeVos Place Convention Center.
