By Leaps & Bounds: Ready By 5 and Community Impact

First passed in 2018, and up for renewal on August 6, the Ready by Five Early Childhood Millage was approved to provide supports and increased access to evidence-based early childhood programs and services that improve health, school readiness and well-being for children and families in Kent County. Administered by First Steps Kent in partnership with parents, service providers, advocates and other stakeholders, over the past six years, Ready by 5 has impacted young children and expectant parents from every zip code in Kent County.
