The Rise face the Atlanta Vibe Wednesday in Omaha at the league championship tournament

“The team is kind of ready to kind of battle in this next round.”

Coach Cathy George played everyone on the Rise roster in the final home game of the season. A victory over the Omaha Supernova’s sending the team into the post season with a win.

“Everybody is feeling kind of engaged and ready to go.”

The Rise had not defeated the Supernova’s this season and opposite hitter Morgan Fingall says getting the win heading into the playoffs is good for team morale.

“I think its just great momentum I think we knew we wanted to beat Omaha since they had beat us three times prior.”

The Rise face the Atlanta Vibe Wednesday in Omaha at the league championship tournament. Opposite Hitter Emiliya Dimitrova says anything can happen.

“We have equal chances like everyone else.”

Playing her final match before a large enthusiastic crowd at Van Andel Arena, Dimitrova says the fans have been very supportive all season.

“We had doubts if this was going to work in a city like Grand Rapids but its working. I think it is amazing.”
