The Michigan Department of Transportation is hosting a meeting Tuesday for residents, city and business leaders, and contractors.
MDOT officials will discuss details of the construction project that will rebuild the Business Loop between US-31 and I-196 starting April 15.
They’ll provide specifics on the project, schedule and proposed detour routes, along with a Q & A session.
The $17 million project will rebuild four and a half miles of 196 in both directions from US-31 in Holland to 88th Avenue in Zeeland.
It includes resurfacing, concrete joint repairs, traffic signal work plus new signs and guardrails.
The meeting is Tuesday March 26 from 4-5:30 at the Howard Miller Public Library in Zeeland.
