Ottawa County Board of Commissioners seek Terpstra replacement

Ottawa County Commissioner Kyle Terpstra issued his resignation from the board on November 16^th. Terpstra served Ottawa County’s 6^th District which covers most of Georgetown Charter Township. The term of office expires December 31, 2024. Michigan law mandates the board vacancy must be filled within 30 days.

Ottawa County Board of Commissioners will appoint a new member by December 12^th.

Candidates can apply online at miottawa.org. Application deadline is 9am Monday, December 4^th. On Tuesday, December 5^th the board will determine candidates and conduct public interviews on December 8^th.
