Ottawa County Board of Commissioners will appoint a new member by December 12th.

Ottawa County Commissioner Kyle Terpstra issued his resignation from the board on November 16th. Terpstra served Ottawa County’s 6th District which covers most of Georgetown Charter Township. The term of office expires December 31, 2024. Michigan law mandates the board vacancy must be filled within 30 days.

Ottawa County Board of Commissioners will appoint a new member by December 12th.

Candidates can apply online at miottawa.org. Application deadline is 9am Monday, December 4th. On Tuesday, December 5th the board will determine candidates and conduct public interviews on December 8th.
