The three registration plates replicate ones used during specific time frames.
That includes a red, white, and blue plate originally issued for the U.S. bicentennial…and which would not be available until the nation’s next birthday in 2026.
There’s also a black plate previously used between 1979 and 1983 and an iconic blue one issued for about a quarter century after that.
Drivers could grab one for a fee…or pay to renew an existing registration for a similar plate.
