Prescott leadership decided West Michigan was ideal. They will open its new headquarters at 2301 E Paris Ave.

Contractors doing business with the U.S. Department of Defense must protect sensitive information. There’s a standard the DoD requires. It’s the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification. Compliance requires a third-party assessment.

Florida-based Prescott provides cybersecurity compliance consulting. It was founded in 2021 shortly after the Department of Defense implemented its Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification.

Since then, Prescott has developed partnerships with Michigan-based clients and the tech community including the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, Small Business Development Center, and the Technology Council of West Michigan.

As Prescott looked to expand, leadership decided West Michigan was ideal. Jen Wangler, Vice President of Technology at regional nonprofit economic development organization, The Right Place, said, “Prescott’s decision to relocate their HQ to the Greater Grand Rapids region is a strong testament to our area’s incredible tech ecosystem.”

Prescott will open its new headquarters at 2301 E Paris Ave. SE. This is where services will be expanded and additional consultants will be hired building out its team.
