Michigan college graduation rates tick slightly upward in latest data

non-licensed

Graduation rates at Michigan's community colleges and public universities are going up mostly.

There are also a few slight dips hidden in the data.

But, overall, Michigan Association of State Universities C-E-O Daniel Hurley says the numbers reflect schools’ hard work.

“Certainly, much more greater use of student data analytics, more immediate and intrusive advising, academic advising as needed, much more abreast in student support.”

Over 80-percent of public university students are graduating within eight years of starting. Meanwhile… fewer than half of community college students are wrapping up within six years.
