Democrats will hold the governor’s office and the Legislature. State Representative Angela Witwer is part of the new state House leadership team. She says a new subcommittee will focus on affordable housing, which is a growing problem.
“And we’re also going to do a subcommittee on behavioral health. We have a real problem.”
The American Medical Association includes stress, mental health and substance abuse in its definition of behavioral health. Witwer says she’ll also make road funding a priority in her role as chair of the House Appropriations Committee.
