Democrat and Challenger David LaGrand has been a Michigan House Representative since 2015. Prior to the state legislature, LaGrand served as a Grand Rapids City Commissioner and is currently the owner of several small businesses including Hall Street Bakery, Wealthy Street Bakery and Long Road Distillers.
LaGrand says, his top three priorities are strengthening public safety, facilitating new development in West Michigan’s more impoverished neighborhoods, and protecting a woman’s right to choose.
