The Getty Drive-In in Muskegon is now open for its 78th season.
The Getty Drive In just re-opened on Wednesday.
In a news release, officials say the Getty opened in 1944, making this the 78th season of summer movie-going. As popularity of outdoor experiences surged over the past two years, drive in movie theatres have drawn fresh attention.
The Getty offers what they call an old-school nostalgic vibe, coupled with updated digital projection and sound broadcast through an FM radio signal
Getty Drive In guests have options for food at the concession stand or you order online for direct-to-car delivery.
New General Manager, Chad Gemzer, Says, quote, “The Getty 4 Drive In has been a West Michigan favorite for generations. With the large line-up of titles finally coming out this summer, it is sure to be a blast!”
Anticipated summer movies include, “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Legally Blonde 3, and Jurassic World: Dominion”, among others.
