GRCC leader selected from a national pool of candidates.

After conducting a national search, the Ferris State University Board of Trustees Monday announced it had selected Bill Pink to serve as its next President.

Bill Pink is currently the president of Grand Rapids Community College, a position he has held since May of 2017.

According to officials, the Board of Trustees voted unanimously in favor of Pink, noting his three-plus decades of professional experience as an educator, leader, and active community member.

Pink succeeds current Ferris State University President David Eisler, who is retiring after serving 19 years in the role.

Following the official vote by the Board of Trustees in May, Pink begins his new role as Ferris State University’s 19th president in July of 2022
