Officials search for bank robbery suspect in Grand Haven

Grand Haven Department of Public Safety responded to a report of a robbery at Lake Michigan Credit Union on Jackson Avenue this morning. Suspect is described as a black male, 6' tall in a gray hoodie with black or navy blue jacket over the top, wearing a black beanie hat, dark pants and red shoes.

Multiple Grand Haven-area schools are in lockdown as police pursue the suspect of a robbery that occurred earlier this morning.

Grand Haven Department of Public Safety responded to a report of a robbery at Lake Michigan Credit Union on Jackson Avenue at 10:19am, requesting Ferry Elementary, White Pines Middle, Griffin Elementary and Grand Haven Christian schools to lock down.

GHDPS said the subject its searching for is described as 6' tall Black male in a gray hoodie with a black or navy blue jacket over top, wearing a black beanie hat, dark pants and red shoes.
