Will tour General Motors’ newly-rechristened “Factory Zero” plant

President Biden travels to an electric vehicle plant in Detroit this week, and the legislative agenda calls for substantially increasing non-fossil fuel sources.

But the U-S refused to join other countries who demanded at the recent global climate summit that automakers phase-out gasoline-powered vehicles within two decades.

Biden’s visit to General Motors’ newly-rechristened “Factory Zero” plant – which stretches across portions of Detroit and Hamtramck – allows the President to tout initiatives in both of his signature legislative proposals.

The infrastructure package recently approved by Congress includes funding for about half-a-million electric vehicle charging stations across the country.

Biden’s social agenda plan currently before Congress features a 12-thousand-500 dollar tax credit for buying an electric vehicle made in the U-S…as well as other incentives.

Months ago Biden signed a non-binding executive order that half of all new vehicles should be electric or hybrids by 2030.
