Governor Gretchen Whitmer has announced further rollbacks of COVID-19 mitigation efforts. Speaking at a news conference in Midland today. Whitmer said outdoor capacity limits will be lifted on June 1st. As for indoor gatherings… there will continue to be some restrictions.

“That means that an indoor social gathering like a wedding or a funeral or a conference, or a graduation party will be allowed to resume at 50% capacity through the month of June.”

Caps on indoor dining at restaurants and other gatherings will completely end on July 1st – along with all mask rules.
