Republican Posthumus wins close Michigan House primary race in 73rd district

Three Republicans battled in Michigan’s 73rd House district primary. A tight race between Robert Regan, John Inhulsen and winner Bryan Posthumas He’s a Pro-Trump, Pro-Jobs, Pro-Life and Pro-Second Amendment candidate who is also a supporter of a G-O-P lawsuit to end Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s Emergency Powers during the coronavirus pandemic.

“You know I decided to run for this seat when our governor made it a crime to go out and earn a paycheck. And I decided that West Michigan needs strong leadership in Lansing in order to stand up against our governor. And business experience in order to make sure that we can get Michigan back to work safely and our kids back in school safely.”

Posthumas will now face Democrat Bill Saxton on November 3rd.
