The Better Business Bureau Serving Western Michigan has announced a new, free app to help businesses as they start to re-open.
The new app from the Better Business Bureau serving Western Michigan is meant to help businesses connect and find needed resources, such as Personal Protective Equipment, or PPE as well as other valuable information related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This as they chart out a course to reopen.
Here’s Joe Aulisio is the Communication Specialist for the BBB serving Western Michigan.
“As you navigate that process there might be a detail that you overlooked in some way, we hope this app is a resource to answer some questions and help them move down a path as they navigate the re-opening process.
Aulisio also says the app is industry specific and it opens the door for businesses, non-profits, and other organizations to get the help they need. The BBB continues to add companies to the list and invites other companies that are selling masks, hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies and other protective items to add themselves to the listing.
“And they’re also populated with accredited businesses which helps ease the question of reaching out and how much trust you can put into making that phone call to that particular business that also, from where we stand, is so important.”
Aulisio says the app is free and can be found either on their website or at BBBWMI.GLIDEapp.io
The app is available for your mobile device or desktop.
