Back in September, The U.S. Department of Transportation announced it was releasing the sixth allotment of its $3.18 billion from the Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program. In all, $157 million dedicated as infrastructure grants distributed to 34 airports.

Michigan U.S. Senators Debbie Stabenow and Gary Peters explained in a news release that Gerald R.
