Wyoming's HOM Flats at 28 West providing workforce housing

The site of the former Studio 28 in Wyoming will soon be transformed into more than 200 apartments.

The Studio 28 movie theater located on Wyoming’s 28th Street has been dormant since 2008. Soon, the 7-acre site will be transformed with the construction of six buildings including 97one-bedroom and 129 two-bedroom apartments.

Vishal Arora, Founder and CEO of Magnus Capital Partners along with InSite Capital are investing $35 million into the HOM Flats at 28 West project. The Zeeland native and New York City real estate investor said, “West Michigan lacks adequate workforce housing. It is our hope that H?M Flats at 28 West will contribute to meeting this demand and set a new industry standard for multifamily rental housing.” S

ome amenities include parking, a community room, coffee shop, playground, dog park, walking paths and green space.

Pre-leasing will begin early next year with tenants taking occupancy during the summer months.
