Former Michigan State University president Lou Anna Simon will be back in court Monday. Simon is charged with lying to law enforcement about what she knew about former university sports doctor Larry Nassar. Specifically, a 20-14 internal investigation into allegations of sexual abuse by Nassar against a patient.
Nassar has since been sentenced to decades in prison for sexually assaulting his patients. An Eaton County judge will decide if there is enough evidence for Simon to go to trial for two felony and two misdemeanor charges.
