A sculpture of former first lady Betty Ford was unveiled during a celebration of the 105th birthday of former President Gerald Ford in Grand Rapids.
The unveiling followed a wreath laying ceremony Saturday on the grounds of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. Members of the Ford family and other officials and guests offered remarks and placed wreaths and floral tributes at the base of the former first couple's tomb.
The museum is featuring a special exhibit entitled "In Step with Betty Ford: A Celebration of Her Centennial." The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation hosted the ceremony.
