Gov. Rick Snyder joins Grand Rapids food truck manufacturer at ribbon cutting

Michigan Governor Rick Snyder was in Grand Rapids this Wednesday afternoon for the Grand Opening of MOVE Systems. The new company is an eco-friendly food truck manufacturer. The Governor joined officials from The Right Place as well as MOVE Systems President and CEO James Meeks for the ribbon cutting ceremony at the company’s new headquarters on Grand Rapids Northwest side. Gov. Snyder said that opening the manufacturing plant in Grand Rapids was a pure Michigan success story.

“And when I say story it’s a reality. And it sends a great message about what we can do in Michigan. We are the number one state in the country for the creation of manufacturing jobs. Number one,” Snyder said.

Governor Snyder will be joining Vice President Mike Pence in Detroit Thursday morning. Snyder will meet with business leaders and Michigan families to discuss the need for tax reform.
