The Grand Rapids Police Department is looking for two suspects who stabbed a man Monday night on the south side of Grand Rapids. Police said in a press release that a 60-year-old man had been stabbed and robbed in a McDonald’s parking lot on 28th street near Madison Avenue.
The suspects are described as two African-American males wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts and were last seen running north on Madison. A K-9 track unit failed to locate the suspects after a search.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The department’s Major Case Team is investigating the incident. Anyone who may have additional information is requested to come forward.
