en.wikipedia.org

A group of 47 recruits will be sworn in as members of the state police at their graduation in Lansing.

Gov. Rick Snyder will deliver the keynote and state police director Col. Kriste Kibbey Etue will do the swearing-in Friday at the 129th Trooper Recruit School ceremony.

The new troopers will be assigned to posts across the state following their graduation. A total of eight assignments are at the Metro South Post in Taylor and the Metro North Post in Oak Park. Four are in Flint.

The Tri-City Post in Freeland and the Lakeview Post each will get three new troopers.
