A person of interest is being held by police in connection with a western Michigan shooting that killed a 17-year-old and wounded two 18-year-olds.
WOOD-TV and MLive.com report that the person was in custody Monday and that police in Muskegon are continuing to investigate the Saturday night shootings.
Naethon Sims was slain. The 18-year-olds were recovering at a hospital.
Muskegon Police Chief Jeffrey Lewis says an argument led to a gunman pulling the weapon and firing.
When police arrived, they found three teenagers on the ground in a yard.
On Sunday, more than 100 people gathered at a vigil to pay tribute to Sims and the other teens. Many brought balloons and candles.
Sims' mother, Kerri Sims, identified the injured teens as his brother and friend.
