USS LST 393 Veterans Museum hosts Muskegon Veterans job Fair

lst393.org

The 5th Annual Muskegon Veterans Jobs Fair is being held Friday, May 20th.

More than 60 lakeshore businesses have positions to fill and they’re primarily focusing in on the skills veterans have to offer. Veterans and non-veteran job seekers are encouraged to bring their resumes when boarding the USS LST 393 Veterans Museum in downtown Muskegon where they’ll be matched with potential employers.  The Veterans' Center of Muskegon County will assist with the process. Republican State Rep. Holly Hughes of Montague is vice chair of the House Military and Veterans Committee and she helped start the event back in 2012. She says there’s a “tremendous amount of talent” in Muskegon and  that she “want(s) to make sure that there is a place where potential employees and employers can network."

The Veterans Job Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. aboard the USS LST 393 Veterans Museum in Muskegon.
