Two state water quality experts and a Flint utility official face criminal charges related to the Flint water crisis
Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette says the charges include misconduct and neglect of duty, tampering with evidence and lying to cover up the lead contamination of the city’s drinking water.
Schuette says this is an ongoing investigation.
“These charges are only the beginning. And there will be more to come. That I can guarantee you.”
“You let the lower people get locked up so the big fish can still do what they do.”
But Flint residents like Aaron Dunigan say they want to see how high the investigation goes, and who else gets charged for a water disaster that started while the city was under the control of state-appointed emergency managers.
