Federal prosecutors are accusing a Detroit man of producing and distributing child pornography and running a sex trafficking operation involving four women, including one victim authorities say they found chained inside a home.

Thirty-two-year-old Ryon L. Travis pleaded not guilty Monday at his arraignment in U.S. District Court.

The Detroit Free Press reports his attorney said at an earlier detention hearing that she understood the seriousness of the charges but asked the judge to consider allowing Travis to live with his wife.

The request was denied and he was ordered to remain in custody until trial.

Travis is charged with sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and producing, possessing and transporting child pornography.
