Hope College is inaugurating its new 800-seat Concert Hall with more than 100 students performing during its 28th annual Musical Showcase.
The event takes place Friday and Saturday night at the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts in Holland.
Much of the 64,000-square-foot center opened for the start of the school year in August, with the Concert Hall previously scheduled to open month.
The Musical Showcase was previously held at DeVos Performance Hall in Grand Rapids, but has been moved to campus to help open the new venue. Students take the stage for the fast-paced, musical event during which audience members hear a wide variety of musical performances.
