Tuesday evening's Iowa caucus results mean the 2016 primary election cycle is in full swing.
And if you’re not yet registered to vote in Michigan, you have less than a week to do so.
State voters have until February 8 to register with the state in order to vote in the March Presidential primary.
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, Michigan resident, and at least 18 years old by the election date.
Other than that, residents just need a driver’s license or other state-approved ID, and a few minutes to fill everything out.
Voter applications are available at local Secretary of State branches, clerk’s offices or online.
You can check to make sure you are registered at Michigan.gov/vote.
