MUSKEGON, Mich. (AP) - A new exhibit in Muskegon looks at a lighter side of picture postcards.

The Muskegon Chronicle reports that the Lakeshore Museum Center exhibit is called "Storytelling through the Mail: Tall Tale Postcards." It features more than 80 postcards dating back to the early 20th century.

Among them are ears of corn the size of redwood trunks, furry fish and the mounted head of a "Jackelope." Popular topics are overgrown fruits and vegetables.

The traveling exhibit is on loan from the Michigan State University Museum. It will remain on display until mid-May.
