Authorities say a body has been found along a beach in southwestern Michigan and crews are searching Lake Michigan for a second person.
The U.S. Coast Guard says the body was recovered Friday morning at Tiscornia Park beach in St. Joseph.
Wes Haslam, the Coast Guard's station chief in St. Joseph, tells the Kalamazoo Gazette that a helicopter and 45-foot response boat searched Friday for the second person.
WSJM-AM reports a man and woman had been missing and may have been washed into the water from a pier.
Names of those involved weren't immediately released.
