A local viral video producer who has organized several popular events in downtown Grand Rapids has paid off his debt of more than $11,000 to the city.
Rob Bliss, founder of Rob Bliss Creative, posted the announcement on his personal Facebook page Wednesday and it later was confirmed by city officials.
The Grand Rapids Press reports that the debt was incurred from the use of city services provided at the Zombie Walk in 2009 and a water slide down Lyon Street in 2010.
To pay off the debt, Bliss made monthly payments of $200 and in-kind services to the city. His debt also was reduced by about $10,000 after he produced nine public service announcement videos for the city.
Bliss also was responsible for the viral lip dub video in 2011.
